Selection and measurement of installation methods

For outside mount, the order width should be the window width plus at least 4 inches (or more) to ensure full coverage, with no minimum depth requirement, and it suits windows up to 72 inches high.

For inside mount, the order width equals the exact window width (or 0–1 inch less), but requires a window depth greater than 2 inches, and the actual fabric width will be 1 inch narrower than the order width to fit inside the frame. Keep in mind that inside mount may leave slight light gaps on both sides, so we recommend choosing outside mount for better light blockage and a more polished look.
